The Brief
The client wanted Polypool to create a modern leisure facility incorporating a pool and sauna within a room inside a semi-detached property. The emphasis was on a contemporary look and feel, clean
lines and the use of simple but striking materials to create an area for socialising and relaxing.
The project outline was as follows:
• Bespoke concrete/mosaic tiled pool
• Minimalist interior, lighting and finishes with an emphasis on quality

• State of the art filtration, heating and dehumidification systems

• 7m x 3m gunite (BS8007) monolithic shell complete with Italian mosaic tiled finish
• 1.2 m constant depth
• Monolithic corner steps complete with contrasting mosaic tiled detail
• Tylo sauna cabin
• Heatstar “Andromeda” environmental control unit
• Limestone indoor flat coping stone around pool edge
• Slip resistant tiled pool surround by Kerastar
• Eclear 75 “100 % chlorine free” sanitisation system
