Private Multifunctional Indoor/Outdoor Pool - Portsmouth Hampshire
The Brief
The plan was to integrate a swimming pool, spa, sauna and leisure area within a te escopic enclosure to maximise all year round usage. One of the main prerequisites was to offer an open-air pool in the warmer months and a fully indoor feel to the building at all other times Again best use of space was of prime importance as was creating a building, which was aesthetically pleasing whilst remaining practical and functional. Another consideration was the discreet nature of the design due to planning issues
and the overlooked position of the pool. This was overcome by the clever design provided by Polypool. Polypool were appointed to supply the design, management and construction of the project.

• Development of an existing garage into Bar/social area, plant room, sauna and shower/changing facilities
