The end result has always one to be proud of with Polypool. We have showcased a selecion of case studies to demonstrate how smooth the process can be.

Indoor Pool - Petersfield Hants
The Brief
This particular scheme was a joint venture between the client, their architect, a main contractor and Polypool as the designated swimming pool contractor. This required a high level of communication between the various parties on site to ensure the smooth running of the project. The areas of responsibility were as follows:
• Polypool to liaise with architect in order to specify swimming pool, plant and relevant materials inside the pool hall.
• Main contractor to erect building/pool enclosure to supplied specification
• Main contractor to carry out groundwork (excavation, backfill, floor screed, oversight, pool surround and finishes inside the building etc)
• Polypool to design, specify, supply and install the swimming pool, electrical and mechanical plant equipment and supply labour for various specialist stages of the installation such as liner installation and commissioning/hand over etc.
• Polypool were also tasked with the project management element of the pool hall construction
Specification
• 8.4m x 4.2m Polypool heat-retaining panel system
• 1.5 m constant depth
• Integral Polypool corner step unit
• Heatstar “Andromeda” environmental control unit with fresh air supply ducting to windows around the pool hall perimeter
• Pool surround in limestone flush to pool edge
• Eclear 75 “100 % chlorine free” sanitisation system
This success of this project demonstrated that the combination of Polypool’ expertise and a main contractor offers a logistically workable and cost-effective solution.
The unique packaging of the Polypool panel system allows for conventional building contractors to tackle the bulk of or all of the installation themselves.
Polypool then offer technical support throughout the project on the telephone.
The ease of assembly of the Polypool kits offers the client a substantial saving when compared to a contracted installation by their local swimming pool company.
In the case of any indoor pool project there will generally be a main contractor on site responsible for erecting the building. The labour, plant equipment and raw materials required for excavation, soil removal and groundwork associated with pool construction is already available on site. This clearly represents a more cost-effective solution to the client.
Polypool have designed, supplied and project managed many hundred such Polypool installations across the UK over the past 12 years. results were outstanding. Furthermore the running costs for the pool have now been monitored over the first season’s use and are estimated by the customer at a mere £1 per day
Testimonials
I have to admit that I was reluctant to have a pool incorporated into the changes to our home but was persuaded by my wife to do so. This was on the basis that I thought the pool would be a considerable amount of work to maintain, and would be just another complication in our busy lives.
However I have completely changed my views, and feel that the pool we have has enormously increased its attractiveness. I spend very little time in maintenance, as it has incorporated all the latest techniques, which means to a large extent self regulates. It looks superb, and we are absolutely delighted with the end result..
